One ingredient that we can't get enough of here at Calla Lane is Jojoba Oil.
Jojoba oil is rich in beauty-boosting vitamins A, E, and D plus antioxidants and fatty acids.
Jojoba "oil" is actually a wax ester with remarkably similar properties to our skin's own sebum. This means that the "oil" is able to penetrate deeply, reaching below the top layer of skin for maximum nourishment.
Jojoba is naturally antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, analgesic (i.e. able to relieve pain), anti-inflammatory and highly moisturizing. It can be used on all skin types from acne-prone skin (it’s non-comedogenic) to dry and sensitive skin.
Because of it's consistency and hydration benefits, jojoba oil is a great ingredient for use on the lips.
